Made with upcycled cardboard in the PNW.

Who is Primal Piñatas?

A West Coast kid, up to some good. You want to celebrate something you love? I’d love to help. You want to symbolically destroy something you hate? I’d still love to help. I want to help more now, actually.

What is Primal Piñatas?

A piñata passion project. I want to make wild, weird, cool shit and cover it in crepe paper. I want to share the joy and fascinating history of piñatas with everyone.

When is Primal Piñatas?

Time is a construct, dude. But I made my first piñata in college (a narwhal) and picked it up for real during COVID.

Where is Primal Piñatas?

PNW//Sierras

The PNW, baby! That’s the Pacific Northwest, for those that are unfamiliar. I originally started the piñata shenanigans in Oregon and have since expanded to the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada mountain range (you can find my workshop in an art studio in downtown Carson City).

I can ship outside of the West Coast, but I will always try to find you someone local, first. Shipping piñatas is ridiculously expensive and inaccessible to many which is bullshit because no one should be denied the joy of piñatas.

Why is Primal Piñatas?

Bro, if you don’t know what I’m about by now, nothing in this “About” section is going to help you.
